Sudbury Friday 5

The Bob French Sudbury Friday 5 is the newest senior five-mile race added to the Suffolk Friday 5 series in 2018. Returning for the third year was impossible in 2020 and 2021 due to Covid-19. But we returned once again to hold a Senior 5-mile in 2022.

2023 Race Details

Date: Friday, 2nd June 2023.

Start Time: 7:30 pm.

Licence Number: Pending.

Race Description: The race will start at Great Cornard Sports Centre before heading out onto a predominantly road-based course, ending with a grass finish back at the Sports Centre.

Race Headquarters: Great Cornard Sports Centre, Head Lane, Great Cornard, Sudbury, Suffolk. CO10 0JU.

Registration: Opens at 6:00 pm.

Participant limit: 500.

Memento: There will be a memento for all finishers in The Bob French Sudbury Friday 5 Race.

Facilities: Showers, changing facilities, unattended bag storage, toilets, car parking, café (serving hot and cold drinks), plus a cake stall where the takings will be going to charity.

Please use the car park along the side of the astroturf next to Thomas Gainsborough School. The address of Thomas Gainsborough School is at Wells Hall Road, Great Cornard, Suffolk, CO10 0NH. We ask that you please car share where possible.

The first three male and the first three female finishers overall.
The first male and female teams (first 3 to score).
First U20F, FV35, FV40, FV45, FV50, FV55, FV60, FV65.
First U20M, MV40, MV45, MV50, MV55, MV60, MV65, MV70.
(Runners are eligible to win more than one where applicable).
